"አለንላችሁ" Alenelachehu Charitable Organization (ACO) is a non-profit organization registered under the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Agency as a Civil Society Organization with the registration number 6891. As our name reflects, we are here showing our commitment and dedication to supporting individuals in their journey towards mental health healing and positive transformation. ACO is the first and only organization of its kind, committed to mental health advocacy, community awareness, easy accessible and affordable treatment, and the establishment of safe spaces and self-help/support groups. We are widely recognized for organizing impactful awareness-raising events and hosting support groups, which have been running for over a year. We have successfully hosted numerous awareness creation events, both independently and in collaboration with other organizations. Our support groups provide a nurturing environment for open discussions on various mental health topics, allowing individuals to share their experiences and find support. Currently, we continue to host and facilitate these essential awareness-raising events and support groups. Since May 2023, ACO has been actively engaged in mental health advocacy, organizing awareness raising events, and offering support groups. Our main focus lies in promoting mental health awareness, advocating for equity in mental health, establishing support systems, and facilitating self-healing practices.
